Hatim Abdulkadir Sheikhey

Founder and Executive Director

Yoonis Abdirahman is the Founder and Executive Director of Hello Debates, with seven years of experience across the public and private sectors. His expertise includes governance, political campaigns, operations management, finance, human resources, humanitarian systems, and public engagement. He holds a degree in Business Administration and is committed to advancing democratic participation, public accountability, and institutional development in Somalia.

Hatim

Digital Transformer and Technology Specialist

Hatim is a digital transformation and technology specialist with over 15 years of experience leading large-scale IT infrastructure and digital modernisation programmes across the UK public sector. He holds a BSc in Telecommunications Engineering from Queen Mary University of London and has successfully delivered major technology initiatives for organisations including the BBC and NHS trusts. Passionate about locally led development, civic engagement, and humanitarian innovation, Hatim is committed to strengthening community-centred partnerships, advancing public accountability, and supporting sustainable institutional development across Somalia and East Africa. His expertise in technology, governance, and strategic collaboration brings valuable insight to the Board.

Hafsa Ahmed Mohamed

Project Manager

Hafsa Ahmed Mohamed is a project management, procurement, and operations professional with over seven years of experience delivering strategic and operational initiatives across the logistics, healthcare, petroleum, and energy sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Business Information Technology and a Master of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management. Her expertise includes project management, procurement, stakeholder engagement, data analysis, organizational development, and operational strategy. She is passionate about strengthening governance, civic engagement, and sustainable institutional development.
