Call for Trainers & Facilitators Training of Trainers (ToT)
About This Event
Programme Description Hello Debates Somalia in collaboration with the Institute for Global Negotiation (IGN) is inviting qualified and experienced trainers and facilitators from across Somalia to participate in an upcoming Training of Trainers (ToT) Programme delivered online. The programme is designed to strengthen the knowledge, professional skills, and facilitation capacity of practitioners working in training and facilitation, dialogue, peacebuilding, mediation, conflict resolution, and community engagement Selected participants will receive training delivered by experts from the Institute for Global Negotiation (IGN). The programme will provide practical knowledge and facilitation skills to enable participants to contribute to future training, dialogue, and capacity-building activities within their communities and across Somalia. A total of 6 to 10 trainers and facilitators will be selected from: Puntland, Galmudug, Hirshabelle, South West, Jubaland, Somaliland, and Banadir. The training will be delivered online and will consist of two sessions, approximately two hours each Qualified applicants are required to submit an updated CV clearly outlining their educational background, professional experience, relevant skills, and experience in training, facilitation, peacebuilding, dialogue, mediation, conflict resolution, or community engagement This programme aims to strengthen the capacity of Somali professionals and contribute to the development of effective dialogue, facilitation, and peacebuilding practices across Somalia.

Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements: 1. Be based in one of the locations specified in this call: Puntland, Galmudug, Hirshabelle, South West, Jubaland, Somaliland, or Banadir 2. Be able to speak, write, and understand English well 3. Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, or PhD 4. Have experience or knowledge in **training and facilitation, peacebuilding, dialogue, mediation, conflict resolution, or community engagement 5. Have strong communication and facilitation skills 6. Be available to participate in both online training sessions, 2 hours each 7. Be willing to support future training and dialogue activities in Somalia 8. Have reliable internet access and a suitable device for participating in online training sessions. 9. Previous experience as a trainer, facilitator, mediator, or peacebuilding and dialogue practitioner will be an added advantage. 10.
